About Vikram Jagtap, Property Lawyer in Pune

I enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa in 2007, after completing my LL.B. from Shivaji University, Kolhapur in 2006. I began my career with close to three years in corporate legal service work, handling contract analysis and legal drafting for US based engagements, before starting independent practice in Pune. That grounding shaped how I approach conveyancing today: every document in a title chain gets read closely, not treated as a formality.

My practice covers the full life of a property transaction. This includes title investigation and due diligence, and drafting of Sale Deeds, Agreements for Sale, Conveyance Deeds, Gift Deeds, Wills, Power of Attorney, and Leave and Licence Agreements. I also advise on RERA compliance and Maharashtra land laws, and I support NRI clients who are managing property from abroad. Alongside property work, I handle family law matters including divorce, maintenance, and child custody, and I provide corporate support such as contract review and legal research.

I work with a team of associates, and I assign work according to each associate’s area of strength. This means your work gets done quickly, handled only by the right expert for the job. Even so, I personally review every file before it goes out to a client. If a title has a gap, or a clause favours the other side, I flag it early and explain it in plain language, tied to the specific document it comes from.

I also use modern legal technology and AI assisted research tools to work through documentation more efficiently, so the time that saves goes into a closer review of your file, not a shorter one.
